2 years ago we shared this message and for a variety of reasons it seemed like the perfect time to share it again...
Because we can all regularly use reminders to pause and reflect on what we really need for ourselves.
Not what other people think we need.
Not what we think we should need.
(And not what we think we shouldn't need.)
But honestly and unabashedly asking ourselves:
What do I need right now?
Maybe it's some peace and quiet. Or some patience. Or a chat with a friend. Or just simply some rest. Or some caffeine.
Whatever it is, just know that you don't need to earn it, you deserve it, and, you will be better off for taking it.
And please feel free to save the image above and print it out for yourself (or a colleague!) whenever you need a gentle nudge to take what you need.
