Episode 25:  Courage is a requirement for self-care

As many of you know, Courage is perhaps the C we most like to talk about from our 4 C’s model of self-care. Given our love of Courage, we thought February (which is Psychology Month in Canada) would be an ideal month to record and release a dedicated podcast episode on this very topic. As we've previously shared, however, life had other plans for us this February. This life 'intervention' truly served as an even stronger reminder of the importance of Courage in self-care and of the value in seeing self-care as a dynamic process that needs to change to our current realities.

So, armed with Courage, Self-Compassion, and Connection we hit pause on our podcast and our other Intentional Therapist activities. Although we’ve continued to hit pause on many activities we decided it was in fact a good time to record this special podcast episode on Courage as it’s an incredibly important part of self-care and it truly aligns so nicely with our own self-care.

We were especially excited and grateful to be able to highlight in this episode multiple voices of our Intentional Therapist community through audio clips they submitted, sharing some of their own courageous self-care activities.

We hope you will take some time to listen to this special episode and that the examples shared will both resonate and inspire you to continue taking Courageous acts in the name of your own self-care.
